About FAYZ

The Origin

I always wanted to be a writer. Growing up, the goal was to be involved in creative work—maybe even directing films. I wanted to build worlds. But due to certain conflicts and the reality of things, I pivoted to my other deep interest: writing code and building software systems.

I love engineering, but eventually, the rigid logic of the software space wasn't enough. I needed an escape—a place that wasn't bound by compile errors or product roadmaps. This platform is that escape. It is a dedicated space to finally put my writing out there and translate those fragmented daydreams into complete narratives.

The Process

Everything starts with a single trigger—a stray observation on a late-night drive, an obscure piece of cyberpunk lore, or a glitch in a system. I obsess over that core thought, breaking it apart through deep, repeated reflection.

The actual writing happens at 3 AM. No outlines. No rigid structures. I rely purely on a stream of consciousness to pull the narrative forward. That raw, unfiltered stream is what ultimately translates into the final story you read here. It is brutal, unfiltered, and entirely honest.

The Fiction

All of these fractured ideas and late-night observations eventually coalesce into world-building. The complete archive of stories written by Fayz is freely available to read.
